Nevena Sovtić
Pianist
Nevena Sovtic was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. Nevena received her musical training at the Novi Sad Academy of Arts, where she completed her diploma and master's degrees. In 2015 she moved to Germany, where she first studied song accompaniment at the HfM in Detmold and then worked as an accompanist in singing classes at the same university. With mezzo-soprano Sarah Romberger, she received second prize at the "GFF HfM Detmold - Lied Duo" competition in 2017. The greatest artistic impulses in her training came from Prof. Manuel Lange, Prof. Gerhild Romberger, Prof. Markus Köhler, and Mr. Peter Kreutz, Prof. Julius Drake and Prof. Colin Stone. Ultimately she moved back home, where she got a position as a professor of accompaniment (piano).
